LES ATOMES CROCHUS HOOKED ATOMS
Series after the first atomic theory of Democritus and then Epicurus, who both explained the matter cohesion by imaging a hook (a link) in the atom's shape. The expression "Atomes crochus" was created by Democritus, which also means in French: to have a lot in common.
In quantum physics, the hooked atoms concept came back as early as 1935 with Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen. Then Schrödinger coined the term "entanglement": two entangled particles are in a strange state. No matter how far apart they are, their behavior remains correlated. Their relationship forms a single, inseparable system.

La série se réfère à la représentation de la cohésion de la matière que se firent Démocrite et Epicure.
En physique quantique, dès 1935 les atomes crochus sont de retour avec Einstein, Podolsky et Rosen. Puis Schrödinger invente le mot «entanglement» (intrication): deux particules intriquées sont dans un état étrange. Quelle que soit la distance qui les sépare, leur comportement est similaire. Leur relation forme un système unique et inséparable.
